The annual Henderson Race will take place this year on a Thursday night. Please let me know if you are intending to run so I can prepare the handicap prior to the race.

Anyone entering on the night without prior notification will be subjected to the handicapper from hell (ME). As a little indicator, if you’ve run a 10K recently let me know what your time was and I will ignore it.

The Henderson is a 1-mile open race (secret handicap) followed by a handicapped 2¾ mile cross-country circuit along the banks of the Tweed. Prizes will only be awarded to Gala Harriers paid up members, but newcomers are still welcome to participate.

The Harriers have a proud history of taking part in this marathon relay having won top prizes in the past two events.
