Gala Harriers is participating in the Festival of Sport 6-19 June 2011 and is holding 2 come and try sessions on Monday 13th June (6PM) from Queens Centre and Thursday 16th June (6.30 PM) at Tweedbank Track. After the dry period we’ve been experiencing lately, it was almost inevitable that the weather would change to rain on someone’s parade – and it was Gala Harriers’ Fun Run and Junior 3K race on Sunday that bore the brunt of the showers, while the 10k seniors’ race stayed dry, bright and warm.
