Knox wins Hollybush 10K
May 7th, 200912 harriers turned up on Sunday to run the Hollybush 10K handicap with Tommy Knox coming home in first place. His time of 43.07 was enough to bring him home in front of Robert Marshall (37.50) and Gregor McAneny (38.06) who took 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Some good results and PB’s were posted over the tough and demanding course as the weather conditons for running were near perfect. Full results posted below:

Hiya,
I’m doing Ben Lomond on Saturday, so I don’t think I’ll be racing. I could give a hand in organising, but as I am on call best not give me anything too crucial to do. (Actually, that applies to all the rest of the time anyway.)

Gregor McAneny Says:
Hi there
Has something happened to the results as they seem very different from Sunday? As far as I was aware I finished 4th with Errol in 2nd and Bob in 3rd. Also, Bob’s handicap is down as 14 mins when he actually started at 13 mins and I started at 14 mins. Feel free to correct me if I’m wriong.
Good race tho. Its my favourite course and all the better for the nice weather and the handicaps seemed pretty fair. Congrats to Tommy as well. More runners would be good tho folks.
Tony Says:
Gregor,
results changed, sorry about mistakes. Will try better next time.

Just a reminder to all taking part in the Marathon or Hairy Haggis. The bus leaves at 7am from the Queens Centre. There are a couple of spaces left.
