As part of Gala Rugby Club’s 125th anniversary 7’s tournament, Gala Harriers have been invited to organise a race after the last semi-final and between the final. We have decided to arrange a junior handicap race over either 800metres or 1000 metres, which will be an excellent showcase for the Harriers and will provide great race experience in a fantastic venue for our junior athletes.

The time of the race is expected to commence at 6.40p.m. but we will require our athletes to be ready to run from 6.30p.m. on Saturday 2nd May 2009.

Please note that all junior athletes who attend training will be expected to compete.

We will provide all runners with the brand new Gala Harriers t-shirt, to be worn during the race and there will be prizes for the first 3 finishers.

It would be great if you can support the club with your attendance, so please let Neil Renton or myself know by Friday 24th March (So we can organise t-shirts) that you want to be included in this unique event.
