   Hi Guys,
   I’ve just seen your posts, so sorry for no earlier reply. The route is basically along Melrose high street, and up Dingleton hill for about 100yds, then down some steps, then follow a path up the side of a couple of fields before coming out onto the open hill. From there, we get someone to cut back the gorse to allow you to head pretty much straight up the first Eildon. Follow your nose across the saddle then up the second hill, keeping to the right where the paths split. The descent route cuts across the side of the first hill to regain the route up where you came onto the open hill. The finish is slightly different to the start, as you go 3/4s of the way around the rugby pitch rather than Gibson park.

   If you are interested, and in Melrose, I will be leading a (slow) group of runners around the route, starting in Melrose square this Wednesday evening (10th June) collecting in the square at 6pm.

   As for race numbers, we’ll give them out on the day - not many folk pre enter. Ryan, I’ll check I’ve got your entry. You can pre enter and save £2 by printing the form off our web site.
