Harriers Tackle The Lairig Ghru Hill Race
July 3rd, 2007Rachel Fagan produced a top run to finish second lady overall in the 28 mile Lairig Ghru Hill Race.
The ultra distance hill race, is run between the police stations of Braemar and Aviemore, with 28 miles of spectacular scenery, run over an historic drove road rising to 2733 ft. between some of the highest peaks in Britain. Rachel’s time of 4.26.29 was good enough for second female spot and 21st overall. David Hunter also took to the hills and finished in a time of 5.18.57 and was 60th overall.
Well done both runners for a fantastic effort.
