Track 5000 Metres Race Report
May 2nd, 2007Rory Methven continued his strong running performances with a great display at the Tweedbank running track on Thursday 26th April to win the race in a time of 16min 10 secs. Graeme Murdoch took a well deserved second place (17 min 13 secs) after Damon Rodwell dropped out on lap 8 after injuring his foot. First vet and and in thrid place overall was Rob McCrirrick who paced the 12 1/2 lap course well to finish in a time of 18.03.
Ist lady was Karen Haldane in a time of 20.41, closely followed by Leanne Haining in a time of 20.56, with the third lady, Angela Foss completing the distance on a warm evening in a time of 22.35.
