London Mini Marathon Report
February 26th, 2007Following their excellent performances in the recent Scottish cross country championships, Gala Harriers have had 2 athletes selected to run for the East of Scotland in the prestigious London mini marathon in April. Hannah Jones and Alice Haining will run in their respective age groups along with athletes from all over Britain in the race run in conjunction with the London Marathon. Haining has competed in this event previously but this is the first representative honours for Hannah Jones. The youngster from Berwick has been competing for just 4 months and has had considerable success in the Winter Cross Country series and North of England Schools competition.
