Scottish Track Championships
August 31st, 2006Alice Haining, Emily Douglas and Laura Goodson were all taking part in the Scottish Track Championships at Grangemouth over the weekend. Alice was competing in the U13 girls 800 metres, she ran a time of 2.31 in the final and was just beaten on the line for the bronze medal. It was a similar story for Laura Goodson in the U15 girls 1500 metres as she ran 4.51 in the final but just lost out on a medal over the last twenty metres. Emily Douglas was taking on the sprints and qualified for the semi’s in the U15 girls 100 metres, finishing in a time of 13.63 but failing to get through qualifying for the 200 metres, finishing fifth in her heat.
