Euan Jardine and Kate Jenkins helped Scotland win both the men’s and ladies team titles at the home international hill championships at Knockdhu in Nothern Ireland on Saturday.

Euan ran a fine race to finish 7th in the field of 88 runners, while Kate was 5th in the ladies race, which was won by former harrier Jill Mykura.

Next race for the harriers is the clubs Intersport 10K handicap race on Monday 8th of May. The race starts at 6.30 from Gala Academy and it is hoped that there will be a better turnout of harriers than recent club races.
