Hill race

Greenyards, Melrose
Gala Harrier runners took part in the Scottish Hill Running Championships last Saturday over a typically tough course up Ben Lomond. Alice Haining picked up another national title, winning the U14 girls championship, finishing second overall in front of both boys and girls much older than herself. (more…)
Euan Jardine and Kate Jenkins helped Scotland win both the men’s and ladies team titles at the home international hill championships at Knockdhu in Nothern Ireland on Saturday. (more…)
Gala Harriers held their first race night of the season on Thursday with the juniors competing in 100 metre sprints and the seniors running the 5000 metres. There were some very good junior races, with all the athletes showing great determination and effort and a good turn of speed. (more…)
