Gala Harriers Winter Training For Juniors
October 6th, 2005Thursday training for junior athletes will continue throughout the winter. However athletes who wish to train will be expected to compete for the club during the cross country season, either in the East of Scotland fixtures or the eastern borders cross country series.
This will involve parents taking their children to the events. Athletes will be given details of the dates of races as they become available.
The eastern borders races will take place in Gala, Norham, Lauder, Berwick and Dunbar.
Gala Harriers are also looking to recruit more coaches and volunteers and will pay for people to attend the introductory courses. If you are interested and willing to commit some time to the club please get in touch with Neil Renton on 01896 751598.
