The club are looking for members interested in running in these year’s relay event. After last year’s run away success (sorry, couldn’t resist!) the relay event at the Edinburgh Marathon is being held again.

Teams consist of 5 runners which can be all male, all female or mixed. The leg distances are as follows:

1st leg: 7 miles, 2nd leg: 5 miles, 3rd leg: 5 miles, 4th leg: 4 miles, 5th leg: 5 miles.

If you are interested in representing the club then please register your interest with a committee member, preferably one of the following:

Mens Captain (Robin Murray), Ladies Captain (Tish Affleck) or Club President Karen Renton.

The cost to enter is ¬¨£100 per team but the Club will be paying half of this fee. Thereby making the cost ¬¨£10 per runner.

Note that you do not need to find yourself a team before registering interest. At this stage it is unknown how many teams the Club can enter so teams might be put together based on a ballot or first-come basis.
