Lauderdale Limpers 10K Challenge
January 1st, 2005On Tuesday 17 harriers travelled to Lauder to take part in the annual Limpers v Harriers 10K challenge. een Nicol (3rd), Shiela King (7th), Rosi Capper (8th), David Hunter (9th), Steven Gillan (10th) and Graeme Murdoch (11th).
Despite this being a tough course there were some good scratch times with several harriers recording personal or seasons bests. Among them were Graeme Murdoch who got under 40 minutes at last, with a time of 39.30, Sally Barr who is a member of both clubs but ran for the Limpers on this occasion, she was delighted to PB with a time of 39.54. John Borthwick clocked a seasons best of 35.18, with Susan Howel 55.48 and Anne Purves 58.35 both running personal bests. We should also mention Karen Haladane who has only just joined the harriers and was dropped in the deep end with a tough handicap time but still managed a respectable time of 45.01.
