The Gypsy Glen Hill Race
January 1st, 2005This Peebles venue saw a 3rd place finish for John Borthwick, whilst Alastair Laurie claimed 2nd in the veterans race. John Borthwick is certainly making up for lost race time these days and he tried his luck on the hills around Peebles on Wednesday night, along with Robin Murray, Alastair Laurie and Bryan Bailey who joined him on the night.
John finished 3rd overall from the field of 30 runners, with Alastair Laurie picking up his first ever vet’s prize, claiming the 2nd veterans spot. Bryan Bailey finished 9th with Robin Murray just out of the vet’s prizes finishing 10th overall.
