Club Volunteer award For Neil Renton
January 1st, 2005Neil’s award is for Club Volunteer of the Year and is in recognition of his work done with the Harriers and throughout the Scottish Borders.
David Moorcroft, former world record holder at 5000m and Chief Executive of UK Athletics presented Neil Renton of Gala Harriers with the award for Scottish Club Volunteer of the year at the recent international match between Great Britain, Russia, and the USA.
The award was in recognition for work done with the Gala club and the Scottish Borders and is part of the Club Futures Programme.
Assisting David Moorcroft with the presentations was Alan Potts, President of Scottish Athletics.
Congratulations to Neil from everyone in the Harriers for all his hard work.
