There was a very good turnout of harriers on Thursday night at the Salmon Inn for their annual presentation of trophies. The club championship series trophy is for the best all round athlete in the club, over cross country, hills, track and road. The top honours this year went to John Borthwick and Rachel Fagan, who were clear winners over the season, with Fergus Johnston and Angela Foss runners up and Struan King and Eileen Nicol taking third place.

Other trophy winners were:

Laurence Alexander (Ladhope XC),
Mike Young and David Hunter (Henderson Trophy),
Fergus Johnston ( Neil Potts Trophy),
Euan Jardine (Will Lindsay Cup).

There was also recognition of the achievements by John Hunter and Lynsey Renton in winning the Ettrick and Lauderdale sports personality of the year and the young coach of the year awards.
