Each youngster took part in 4 events including long jump, javelin and running.
The athletes were awarded a score for each performance and their best three events were added together to calculate the level of the award. This should give them a target to aim for in the next set of events.
The strongest athletes on the night were Murray Lemmon ( 8 - 9 category) and Ashleigh Hedderly ( 10-11 category) who put in good overall performances.
Murray was awarded a gold level in his age group whilst Ashleigh was awarded silver in hers. The oldest age group was led by Jessica Elliot, Katherine McClement and Lyle who all reached the blue level. Hopefully with strong performances in the next session they can reach bronze.
