Neil Aitchison is a veteran of many but has seldom taken part in as tough an event as the one run over the hills around Langholm this weekend. Of the 220 teams, which started out on Saturday morning, only 109 managed to finish on Sunday. Neil and his team-mate William Crook finished a creditable 39th with a combined time of 14 hrs and 39 minutes and will be taking it easy for the rest of the week!
