with Gala Harriers represented by Kirsty Thomson.
Kirsty ran well over the 2 mile course to record a time of 16.14.
Wheelchair athlete John Hunter made his debut appearance in this race with his new racing chair.
He started off well but unfortunately injured his fingers during the race, despite this,
John still managed to record a time of 24.32 minutes.

First male runner was John Blair (Portobello RC) in a time of 34.17 and first female was Susan Ridley (Edinburgh Woolen Mill),
38.57, who completed a border double, having won the Gala 10K earlier in the year.
Tish Affleck picked up the ladies veterans prize in a time of 40.56 and showed that she is getting back to something
like the form she is used to after her long injury break.

Mike Young (42.51), Eileen Nichol (45.33), David Hunter (45.45), Sharon McClemont(49.00),
