Gala Harriers Ladies Tackle ‘The Race for Life’
May 18th, 2003The Glasgow ‘Race for Life’ attracts the largest all women field of runners in Scotland, with over 7000 ladies running in this year’s event. Among them, ready to tackle the 10 Km course were Suzanne Carson, Margot Crosbie, Jane Currie and Jennifer McKenzie.
Suzanne ran well on the day and recorded a very respectable time of 38.00 to finish 21st overall on the day. Jane and Margot are training partners and it was no surprise that they finished close together in times of 51.23 and 52.33 respectively. Jennifer McKenzie recorded a time of 63.11 in only her second 10K race.
